If you choose it, expect VIP treatment, a clean and modern-looking facility, and a lot of business passengers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airport has very well-equipped conference and meeting rooms, a restaurant, a comfortable lounge, and all the other amenities you could imagine. It\u2019s run by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signatureflight.com\/locations\/BQH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Signature Flight Support<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signatureflight.com\/about\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">world\u2019s largest network of FBOs<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Orlando_Airports\"><\/span>Orlando Airports<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orlando has two main airports that serve the needs of the city\u2019s travelers. The first one in terms of passenger traffic, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/comparemyjet.com\/fr\/hotels\/mco-hotels\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"489\" title=\"11 Best Hotels Near Orlando International Airport\">Orlando International Airport<\/a><\/em>, is quite close to the city\u2019s central area, or <em>downtown<\/em>, while <em>Sanford International Airport<\/em> is located some 25 miles from Orlando\u2019s downtown area, in the neighborhood of the same name.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Orlando_International_Airport_MCO\"><\/span>Orlando International Airport (MCO)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being the first choice for Orlando\u2019s travelers, the <em>International <\/em>airport has a fair amount of fixed-base operators in its surroundings. One of the common choices is the terminal run by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signatureflight.com\/locations\/MCO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Signature Flight Support<\/a>, which offers excellent amenities and experienced well-trained personnel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the main focus when it comes to private flying is on the <a href=\"https:\/\/comparemyjet.com\/fr\/hotels\/orl-hotels\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"512\" title=\"11 Best Hotels Near Orlando Executive Airport\">Orlando Executive Airport<\/a>, which is part of MCO but operates its own runway. It\u2019s actually the first and so-called \u201coriginal airport\u201d to the city of Orlando.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a great airport that has perfect access to all the important highways connecting Orlando to the rest of the region. It\u2019s located only 3 miles away from Orlando\u2019s business and financial center, so you can imagine why it attracts most private flyers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fixed-base operations (FBO) are run by two operators, Atlantic Aviation and Sheltair. Both offer magnificent services and people have described the Sheltair terminal to be the \u201cbest FBO they have ever used.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sanford_International_Airport_SFB\"><\/span>Sanford International Airport (SFB)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being the smaller and <em>second-best <\/em>of both airports, it also has a smaller choice of FBOs. However, the quality of service that these couple of private terminals have to offer is high on the scale.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever people fly from <em>SFB<\/em> rather than <em>MCO<\/em>, the most usual choice of FBO is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.millionair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">MillionAir<\/a>. Believe me, there are incredible tiny jets that are able to take you there and save you some zeros on the account balance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure to keep in mind that the prices can vary a lot, depending on different scenarios.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Small_Light_Jets_and_Midsize_Jets\"><\/span>Small (Light Jets) and Midsize Jets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I won\u2019t be recommending any turboprop jets, because for one it\u2019s too much time spent in the air (roughly 15 hours), and the cabins are far from wide most of the time. However, I do have a few light jets in mind.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em><a href=\"https:\/\/comparemyjet.com\/fr\/cessna\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"145\" title=\"Ultimate Guide To Cessna Private Jets &amp; Aircraft\">Cessna<\/a> Citation M2 <\/em>is always a good call for a smaller group that wishes to fly in comfort. The jet fits a maximum of five people, and needs 10 hours and 11 minutes according to <em>Private Fly<\/em>, to reach Orlando from London. The price for this jet is around \u00a341,000 \/ $56,000.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bit faster option, but also more expensive, is the <em>Cessna C525 Citation CJ4. <\/em>This jet will fit two extra passengers inside and will get to Orlando in a little bit over 9 hours. If you opt for this option, prepare to pay some \u00a344,000 \/ $60,000.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, if you\u2019d still rather fly by a midsize jet, give <em>Legacy 450<\/em> a look. This fast and modern-looking jet can be yours to hire for some \u00a352,500 \/ $71,500. The seating capacity is 8, and the jet needs 8 hours and 18 minutes to pass the route.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another midsize jet that I would consider if you want more cabin space and don\u2019t mind flying longer than 8 hours is the <em>Hawker 900XP. <\/em>A much bigger option that will take nine people on board and fly for 9 hours and 20 minutes to reach the destination. The rent price of this one is around \u00a362,500 \/ $85,000.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Heavy_Jets\"><\/span>Heavy Jets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opting for the heavy jets category can open many new horizons. The service is usually much better, and the space and comfort are incomparable to the other jet categories.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Falcon 2000EX EASy <\/em>is one of my favorite aircraft and one reason for that is how cost-efficient it is. This is a jet that has a cabin big enough to perfectly fit 10 people that will all have a decent level of comfort. It needs 9 hours for such a route and costs around \u00a382,000 \/ $112,000 to rent.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the best balance between money and value is seen with the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/comparemyjet.com\/fr\/gulfstream\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"175\" title=\"Ultimate Guide To Gulfstream Private Jets &amp; Aircraft\">Gulfstream<\/a> G350<\/em> which I would seriously consider for this route. The jet has a cozy walk-around cabin for 14 people and needs eight hours to fly from London to Orlando. It\u2019s even a bit cheaper than the <em>EASy <\/em>&#8211; some \u00a374,500 \/ $101,000.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final proposal for those willing to spend more is the <em>Challenger 850. <\/em>This jet can be yours for \u00a385,000 \/ $116,000 and will take you to your destination in 9 hours.
