If you’re planning to travel to the Balkans, Belgrade is definitely one of the must-see cities with rich history, great food, and amazing nightlife. However, before arriving in this city, here are a few useful things to have in mind.
Belgrade officially has only one airport, the Nikola Tesla Airport. This airport is located 18 kilometres from the city centre. To reach the centre, you can take the bus A1 which goes every 25 minutes until 8 pm. This bus’ last stop is at Slavija square, which is one of the city’s central points.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi for RSD 2,110 (€18). Most taxi companies have a flat rate for airport rides. Some of the reliable taxi companies in Belgrade are Yellow Taxi, Pink Taxi, Blue Taxi, BG Taxi, and Naxis Taxi.
Unfortunately, the usual car-sharing apps which work in US and Europe, like Uber, Bolt, or Lyft, don’t exist in Belgrade. However, there is a local company with similar services known as Car:Go. The price of this service will depend on the car tier that you choose. The luxury tier is a large Jaguar fleet, the business tier is the latest Toyota Corolla fleet, and economy cars are regular cars driven by the locals.
If you want to book a luxurious and professional car ride in advance, you can do that via Private Driver Serbia, Balkan Chauffeur, or Steelman Chauffeur Services Belgrade.
Finally, you can also book a helicopter route and view Belgrade from above via Balkan Helicopters, Party in Belgrade, Aeroaffaires, Helimaster, and Royal Charter Service.

Which Jets Can You Fly to Belgrade?
On most routes except Beijing and Chicago, you can take any type of jet to get to Belgrade.
In all cases, turboprops are the cheapest, and probably the best option for short-haul flights, while heavy jets are the most expensive.
Turboprops, however, are small, so if you want more people flying with you, you should consider a larger jet.
Turboprops
Turboprops fly thanks to their turbine-powered engines. They are the most affordable type of jet. The range of an average turboprop is 2,400 kilometres, but the number can vary depending on the model. They have an average cruising speed of 350 knots, which makes them the slowest type of jet.
Some of the models you will encounter if you fly with Evo Jets are King air 90, Pilatus PC-12, and King Air 350.
Light Jets
The range of light jets is 2,800 kilometres on average, and they can take up to 8 people. The average cruising speed is around 400 knots, making them a bit faster than turboprops.
Some of the models available via Evo Jets are Citation CJ 2, Lear 45 XR, and Hawker 400 XP.
Midsize and Super-Midsize Jets

This jet category is convenient for distances longer than 4,000 kilometres. With an average cruising speed of 450 knots, they are faster than turboprops and light jets.
They are particularly convenient if you want to host more people on your flight. Models available via Evo Jet allow up to 10 passengers.
The models you will encounter at Evo Jets are Citation Excel, Hawker 800 XP, and Lear 60.
Heavy Jets
Heavy jets surpass all other types of jets by all possible parameters. They can take more people in (up to 16), have a range longer than 10,000 kilometres, and speed of more than 500 knots.
Some of the models are Citation X, Falcon 50 EX, and Challenger 300.
Conclusion
There’s no better way to fly to Belgrade than to fly private, wherever you are coming from.
Private charters will always adapt to your free time and needs, not the other way around. Say goodbye to long lines, and hours at the airport, and discover the joys of private flying.
