Which Jets Can You Fly to Podgorica?
Turboprops and light jets are the perfect options for short-haul flights, like those from Belgrade or Istanbul, however, longer flights require midsize and heavy jets.
For routes longer than 2000 kilometres, like Moscow and Tel Aviv, we strongly recommend booking a heavy jet, as such distant flights last for many hours and call for maximum comfort.
Turboprops
Turboprops are usually the most affordable option, except in rare cases when light jets outperform them in the price-service quality ratio.
This type of aircraft is powered by a turbine engine. They are the most efficient at a flight speed of 725 kilometres per hour with 390 knots. Turboprops have a range of up to 2,400 kilometres, meaning that you can travel from Tel Aviv to Podgorica without a pit stop. However, the majority of models have a somewhat smaller range, so make sure to check that before booking your flight.
Although smaller and slower, turboprops are usually cheaper than other types of jets, so unless you are pressed for time, they are a really good option for short-haul flights.
Some examples of turboprops offered by One Flight private jet charter company are the 2016 Avanti P180 EVO and the 2009 Avanti II.
Light Jets

Light jets are the next-in-line economic option after turboprops. They usually have a range of 2,800 kilometres, which is only a bit more than turboprops, however, they are usually faster and more comfortable.
The maximum number of passengers in a light jet is 9 people, although many models actually have less capacity.
If you’re planning a larger party than 7 people, which is the most common number of passengers in turboprops, pay attention to the jet capacity.
Some of the models available on the routes to Podgorica via One Flight are the 2021 Phenom 300E, 2017 Citation M2, 2006 Premier 1A, 1993 Citation V Ultra, and others.
Midsize and Super-Midsize Jets
This jet category is a good choice for distances that go up to 4,700 kilometres, as that’s the flight range they can achieve without making pit stops. The usual number of passengers is also 9 people. However, these jets can provide you with more amenities and greater speed and comfort. Super-midsize jets, on the other hand, can accommodate up to 16 people, so if you plan on travelling with a larger party, they might be a better option. Although, they also cost more.
Some of the jets from this category you will encounter if you decide to book your flight via One Flight are the 2013 Citation XLS+, 2014 Challenger 350, 2004 Gulfstream G200, and 2018 Gulfstream G280.
Heavy Jets
Finally, heavy jets are on top of the list when it comes to the number of passengers, amenities, and range. They are the only viable option for flights longer than 5 hours, and a good choice for those of you who like to enjoy maximum comfort, the highest speed, and the largest party on your travels.
The maximum passenger capacity on a heavy jet is 18 people, but most of the models can accommodate 16. There are some, though, that can accomodate plenty more if the seats are rearranged, so make sure to check that out before booking.
Some of the models you may encounter if you decide to book your flight via One Flight are the 2012 Challenger 605, 2008 Legacy 600, 2007 Gulfstream G550, 2015 Global 6000, and 2006 Global Express XRS.
Conclusion
If you’re planning a trip to Montenegro, the often underestimated Balkan jewel, a private jet charter is the best option for comfortable and safe travelling. No need to compromise your schedule for the sake of your flight – the flight will accommodate your needs.
If you’re going for a vacation, a private jet charter will provide you with a special type of experience, making your trip relaxing from the very beginning. Ensure that you have enough time for the things that really matter to you, and book your private charter to Podgorica.
