Which Jets Can You Fly to Bucharest?
With the exception of the last two routes (Tenerife and Zanzibar), all types of jets are at your disposal to fly to Bucharest.
Usually, turboprops are the most affordable jets and are very convenient for short-haul flights, like those from Chisinau, Ankara, or Palermo.
However, they usually can’t accommodate larger parties and are considered the slowest type of jet. Therefore, if you’re travelling with a larger party, or crossing a longer distance, it’s recommended to pick among the midsize and heavy jets. These are more comfortable and possess more amenities, which is quite convenient if you’re spending several hours on the flight.
Turboprops
Turboprops got their names thanks to their turbine-powered engines. They are usually the cheapest option when it comes to booking private charters. Their range is 2,400 kilometres, on average, but this number varies depending on the model. With a cruising speed of 350 knots, they are the slowest type of jet.
Book your flight via Luxury Aircraft Solutions, and choose among some of these models of turboprops:
- King Air 200, 8 passengers
- Cessna Grand Caravan, 9 passengers
- Fairchild Merlin III B, 9 passengers
- Piaggio Avanti II, 7 passengers
- Pilatus PC – 12/47, 8 passengers
Light Jets

Light jets have a somewhat longer range than turboprops, around 2,800 kilometres. However, just like with turboprops, the exact number varies, depending on the model.
With an average cruising speed of 400 knots, light jets are a bit faster than turboprops.
Here are light jet models available via luxury Aircraft Solutions:
- Citation CJ 3, 8 passengers
- Beechjet 400 A, 8 passengers
- Nextant 400 Xti, 8 passengers
- Citation Bravo, 8 passengers
- Citation Encore +, 7 passengers
Midsize and Super-Midsize Jets
If you want to go further than 4,000 kilometres, then you should consider midsize and super-midsize jets, as this is their average range. They are also faster than the previous types of jets, as their average cruising speed is 450 knots.
These jets are also convenient if you want to host larger parties, as they can accommodate a maximum number of 8 or 16 passengers. You can also expect convenient amenities and services, such as pet access, wi-fi, and luxurious catering.
Here are just some of the models you will encounter at Luxury Aircraft Solutions:
- Challenger 300, 8 passengers
- Gulfstream G-200
- Falcon 50, 10 passengers
- Citation VII, 7 passengers
- Learjet 60, 6 passengers
- Hawker 800 A, 8 passengers
Heavy Jets
They do cost the most, but with an average speed of 500 knots or more, they are also the fastest jets, and their range is over 10,000 kilometres, making them a great option for direct cross-continental flights.
Heavy jets available via Luxury Aircraft Solutions are:
- Legacy, 600, 13 passengers
- Falcon 900, 14 passengers
- Gulfstream G-IVSP, 13 passengers
- Gulfstream III, 12 passengers
- Challenger 601, 12 passengers
- Falcon 7 X, 14 passengers
Conclusion
Bucharest is a great destination to visit, and definitely one of the most popular in Romania. If you want to get there with style and comfort, we suggest you book a private flight. This will allow you to schedule your time however you desire, instead of making your plans around your flight.
Also, long lines and flight delays are a thing of the past with private flights. If you want to experience premium travelling, this is the way to go. Make your trip to Bucharest simple, easy, and unforgettable.
