Paris Orly Airport ORY/LFPO
Paris Orly Airport, once the main international airport for Paris, is located 13 kilometres to the south of Paris. LaGuardia Airport (KLGA/LGA)
While LaGuardia is located very conveniently 18 kilometres from the heart of New York, it’s dedicated to commercial airline access. Private jet access is permitted but receives no priority and as such it’s not recommended. There is only one FBO located here, Modern Aviation.
John F Kennedy Airport (KJFK/JFK)
JFK Airport is one of the busiest airports in the US and is not the best option for private jet travel. JFK Airport is targeted towards commercial airlines and as such, there are less private jets based here and higher jet fuel prices.
This airport does offer a luxury pet travel terminal, if you happen to be jetting off to Ibiza with your furry pal in tow. As with LaGuardia, Modern Aviation is the only FBO here.
Which Jets Can You Fly to Ibiza?
Ibiza itself has a dedicated private jet terminal that’s only 10 kilometres from the town centre. The runway is long enough for all types of aircraft, large or small. Your choice of jet will depend on the number of passengers, the distance, and departure location.
Flying from further afield, like New York for example, you’ll need a much larger aircraft with a greater fuel load capacity.
