The first of our US departure points, Los Angeles, is only a short distance away. Many people who live and work in this vibrant city like to escape to Las Vegas for the weekend. The short flight of around an hour makes it a super convenient getaway destination.

A turboprop is a great option here. At $6,700, it’s the most economical option and allows you to take in the scenery as you travel.

Los Angeles to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

Los Angeles to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Los Angeles is a vast, sprawling city and one of the leading travel hubs of the west coast USA. Therefore, you have four airport options to choose from:

  • Los Angeles International airport (LAX)
  • Long Beach Airport (LGB)
  • Van Nuys Airport (VNY)
  • Los Angeles John Wayne Airport (SNA)

Los Angeles International airport

LAX Airport

If you’ve only heard of one Los Angeles airport, it’s undoubtedly LAX. The airport is south of LA, and while a taxi may only take 20 minutes in low traffic, a helicopter transfer is nearly always the fastest option and only takes 10 minutes.

LAX has a terminal dedicated to private charters and features the “Private Suite” – a luxurious lounge and facilities for the exclusive use of VIP travellers.

You will find two FBOs at LAX, both with their lounge and business facilities and other VIP services:

  • Signature Aviation
  • Atlantic Aviation

Long Beach Airport

If you’re heading from the beach area of LA, then Long Beach is the most convenient airport to fly out from. A taxi ride from the beach resorts takes less than half an hour, while a taxi from central LA will set you back over 45 minutes.

Long Beach is a small airport and doesn’t have much to offer for its VIP customers. However, if you head to one of the three FBOs situated nearby, you’ll find everything you need for your private jet charters to Las Vegas:

  • Signature Aviation
  • Atlantic Aviation
  • Pacific Jet

Van Nuys Airport

Van Nuys is the airport of choice for private flyers. Reserved exclusively for the military and private charters, you will find it’s well-equipped to take care of you.

The airport is east of downtown LA and can be reached in around 30 minutes. Alternatively, a helicopter transfer will take less than ten minutes.

You have a good choice of FBOs at Van Nuys. Each offers a range of top-class facilities and services, so whatever you need for your private charter you’ll be able to find it here.

  • Signature Flight Support
  • Clay Lacy
  • The Park VNY
  • Jet Aviation
  • Castle & Cooke Aviation

Los Angeles John Wayne Airport

Situated in southern OC, the cool-named airport that is John Wayne is a little further out of LA than the other airports. However, if you’re arriving from southern California, this airport is well-placed to receive you.

Private lounges and VIP services are available in the airport, while two FBOs are on hand to cater to your private jet charters to Las Vegas.

  • ACI
  • Clay Lacy

2. Toronto to Las Vegas

Toronto isn’t the warmest of places, so it’s common for folks to seek a little sun along with their fun, and Las Vegas is the perfect location for both.

The journey is too long for a turboprop, so the light jet is the most economical choice, priced at $48,800 ($67,248 CAD). The journey takes a little less than five hours, or you can opt for a larger jet and arrive 25 minutes faster.

Toronto to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

While the light jet is the cheapest option, the midsize jet is only slightly higher in price. This could be a better choice if you want more comfort and a quicker journey.

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––
Light Jet4 – 11$48,800 ($67,248 CAD)4 h 55 min
Midsize Jet6 – 10$53,300 ($73,449 CAD)4 h 30 min
Heavy Jet6 – 96$70,300 ($96,876 CAD)4 h 30 min

Toronto to Las Vegas: Airport Options

You will find two airports in Toronto. It’s a fairly small city, so both are within easy reach of the city’s central areas:

  • Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)
  • Billy Bishop City Airport (YTZ)

Billy Bishop only accepts private charters from a select number of locations (of which Las Vegas isn’t one), so we won’t detail this airport here.

Toronto Pearson Airport

Toronto airport

Situated on the mainland of Toronto, you can reach this airport in under 20-minutes if you’re coming from a central location.

Plenty of lounges and concierge facilities are on hand to make you comfortable, along with numerous boutiques, salons, and gyms to entertain you.

Four FBOs will happily make the arrangements for your private jet charters to Las Vegas:

  • Skyservice
  • Skycharter ltd
  • Signature
  • Flight Solutions and Services

3. Miami to Las Vegas

When Miami folk fancy a change of scenery, Vegas is a hugely popular place to head to. Both cities are designed for entertainment, so city hopping between the two destinations is also common.

Since you’ll be flying from one end of the US to the other, you’ll be in the air for a little over five and a half hours. Here, again, the light jet is the most economical option, but if you’re travelling with a larger party, you might want to enjoy the increased comfort and speed offered by the midsize jet.

Miami to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

The price difference between the three jets is not huge, so all are great options. The midsize and heavy jets give supreme comfort and facilities, while the light jet is the cheapest but takes 30 minutes longer.

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––
Light Jet4 – 11$40,9005 h 40 min
Midsize Jet6 – 10$44,7005 h 10 min
Heavy Jet6 – 96$54,0005 h

Miami to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Miami is a long, narrow coastline-based city. As such, there are three airports situated in different areas. No matter where you are in the city, you’ll have an airport within reach:

  • Miami International Airport (MIA)
  • Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
  • Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL)

Miami International Airport

Miami Airport

A 24/7 free shuttle will quickly get you to this downtown-based airport. A taxi can be slow due to the traffic, so the other preferred option is a helicopter transfer which takes minutes.

Miami is a huge airport but isn’t known for its VIP facilities. Instead, you’ll find these within the two onsite FBOs. Both have lounges and high-class amenities, and can arrange your private Las Vegas jet charter:

  • Signature Flight Support
  • Tursair

Palm Beach International Airport

Private flyers prefer this airport as it’s situated next to the exclusive Palm Beach resort. A taxi from the beaches takes a mere 15 minutes.

While a small airport, you have a good choice of FBOs that can host the take-off to Las Vegas. All have a range of exclusive services and facilities to enjoy:

  • Signature Aviation
  • Aleron Aviation
  • Jet Aviation
  • Atlantic Aviation

Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport

Fort Lauderdale is situated close to Miami’s upscale dining and shopping district. This is a popular airport to fly from after enjoying some Miami-based leisure time.

The airport is north of central Miami and well-equipped with VIP services and facilities such as exclusive lounges and fine dining options. You can also enjoy the high-class services offered by the four onsite FBOs:

  • Signature Flight Support
  • National Jets
  • Jetscape
  • Sheltair Aviation

4. New York to Las Vegas

The Big Apple has it all going on. Whether you’ve been visiting the Hamptons, conducting business in Manhattan, or something in between, Las Vegas offers a colorful respite from the grey skyscrapers.

A light jet takes six hours to reach Las Vegas and costs $42,500. Larger jets are faster, but you pay a little more for the convenience.

New York to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

Like Miami, the price difference between the three types of jets is not significant, so choose the one that’s right for your needs. Heavy jets are particularly excellent for large parties or if you’re travelling with a lot of luggage.

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––
Light Jet4 – 11$42,5005 h 55 min
Midsize Jet6 – 10$46,4005 h 20 min
Heavy Jet6 – 96$55,9005 h 10 min

New York to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Jet over Manhattan

There are three key airports in New York, however, we won’t focus on La Guardia here as it chiefly deals with domestic flights.

  • John F. Kennedy (JFK)
  • Teterboro Airport (TEB)
  • LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

John F. Kennedy

JFK is NYC’s largest and most known airport. It lies 16 km southeast of Manhattan, and a taxi often takes over 90 minutes to reach it. Private flyers, therefore, usually like to use a helicopter transfer service as this takes minutes.

Terminal 4 of JFK is reserved exclusively for private jet charters. Therefore, you can be assured the standard of service and amenities here is exceptionally high. Additionally, you can employ the services of three FBOs for your private jet charters to Las Vegas:

  • Modern Aviation
  • Sheltair
  • Allied Aviation

Teterboro Airport (TEB)

This New Jersey-based airport is 19 km from central Manhattan. A taxi transfer takes roughly an hour, or you can charter a helicopter transfer and get there much quicker. The advantage of this airport is that it’s not situated on New York soil, so you pay lower taxes and fees, resulting in a lower price for your jet charter.

Because of its popularity with private flyers, the airport is well-equipped with VIP services, executive lounges, and business facilities. Four FBOs are also on hand should you need them to organize your trip to Las Vegas:

  • Signature
  • Jet Aviation
  • Meridian
  • Atlantic Aviation

5. London to Las Vegas

Switching continents now, London is one of the busiest cities worldwide for private aviation. With an extensive array of airports to choose from, no matter where you are in the Big Smoke, you will find it easy to arrange your trip to Las Vegas.

This long-haul flight takes just over ten and a half hours. Because of the vast distance, we only see the heavy jet option here for $154,900 (£137,628).

London to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

Smaller jets aren’t capable of such long distances, which is why the heavy jet is the only option here.

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––
Light Jet4 – 11––
Midsize Jet6 – 10––
Heavy Jet6 – 96$154,900 (£137,628)10 h 40 min

London to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Spoilt for choice, five airports await you in and around London:

  • Gatwick (LGW)
  • Heathrow (LHR)
  • London City (LCY)
  • Biggin Hill (BQH)
  • Stansted (STN)

Gatwick

London Gatwick is to the south of the city and can be reached in 30 minutes by direct train from Victoria. A taxi isn’t recommended here as, thanks to the traffic, they can take a long time. This airport is probably a better option if you’re coming from elsewhere in the UK rather than central London.

The airport features two terminals, and both have private check-in facilities and lounges to enjoy. Two FBOs here will happily arrange your personal Las Vegas charter and provide VIP services:

  • Delisky
  • Signature

Heathrow

Heathrow airport

The largest airport in the UK, Heathrow, has four terminals with a proposed fifth terminal in the works. Choose between the express train from Paddington or a helicopter transfer to get you there – both take 15-minutes.

Once you arrive, head straight for terminal 4, which is reserved for the exclusive use of private flyers and VIP guests.

Two FBOs are based at this terminal that are fully equipped to arrange private jet charters to Las Vegas and make you as comfortable as possible:

  • Signature
  • Dnata Private Aviation

London City

Small but perfectly formed, London City can be found right next to the Royal Docks in Newham. Due to its size, the airport has very little in the way of amenities, but there is an FBO a short distance away, and they have a private lounge and other VIP services available:

  • London City Jet Centre

Biggin Hill

Favored by business travellers, Biggin Hill is another small airport in south London.

You can reach this airport in six minutes via helicopter transfer, making it the quickest transfer journey out of all options on this list.

Biggin Hill is small, so you won’t find a large selection of services here. The two FBOs can handle your private jet request and make you comfortable with their premium services.

  • Biggin Hill Executive Handling
  • Signature

Stansted (STN)

If you were wondering where all the FOBs are, don’t worry, they’re all at Stansted! The airport is 40 miles outside of London and is the preferred option for private flights. A 40-minute direct train will get you there from Liverpool street, while a helicopter transfer takes less than 20-minutes.

Many exclusive FBOs are here. No matter which jet you want, where you want to go, and the services you require, you’ll find it at Stansted.

  • Inflite Jet Centre
  • Harrods
  • Universal Aviation
  • Inflight The Jet Centre
  • The Diamond Hangar
  • Fayair
  • Infinite Jet Center;
  • X Jet London;
  • London Jet Center;

6. Madrid to Las Vegas

Spain’s capital city oozes culture, class, and couture. The city serves as an essential travel hub for business and leisure, and you will easily arrange your flight to Las Vegas from here.

As this route is a long-haul distance, you’ll find the heavy jet is your only option here. The route takes eleven and a half hours and costs $166,000 (€169,511).

Madrid to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

You need to be comfortable during such a long flight. Heavy jets provide all the onboard amenities to have a pleasant journey.

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––

Midsize Jet6 – 10––
Heavy Jet6 – 96$166,000 (€169,511)11 h 30  mins

Madrid to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Two airports are situated in Madrid. You may read elsewhere about Torrejon Airport (TOJ); however, this has now permanently closed.

  • Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas (MAD)
  • Cuatro Vientos Airport (LECU)

Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas

Madrid airport

Madrid’s longest-running airport is 13 km northeast of the city centre. A taxi will get you there in around half an hour, while a helicopter transfer takes about ten minutes.

Eight executive lounges are at your disposal, including in-airport sleep rooms. Complete VIP services are also available. Because of this, Adolfo Suarez is the airport of choice for private charters. As such, five FBOs are based here.

You’ll discover additional lounges, conference facilities, and other ground-handling services within the FBOs.

  • General Aviation Service
  • Sky Valet
  • Jetex
  • United Aviation Services
  • Universal Aviation

Cuatro Vientos Airport

This airport is 8 km southwest of Madrid. You can grab the Metro, which takes under 30 minutes. A taxi, however, may take over an hour thanks to the congestion.

AirAssist provides VIP services at this airport, yet it’s not too popular with private flyers.

If you do want to fly from here, there is one FBO on hand to handle your request:

  • CLA Aviation

7. Nice to Las Vegas

From one playground to another, Nice serves as the central place to fly from if you’ve been hanging out in Monaco or relaxing in the Cote d’Azur.

The longest of all charter routes on this list, the journey takes just under twelve hours and costs $173,400 (€177,068) in a heavy jet.

Nice to Las Vegas: Pricing Options

For your ultimate relaxation, choose a heavy jet with lie-flat seats and inflight entertainment. You’ll hardly remember you’re on a plane!

The prices below are based on Evojets rates. Note that other private charter companies might have lower or higher prices, depending on the company.

Aircraft TypeNo of passengersPriceEstimated flight time
Turboprop4- 19––
Light Jet4 – 11––
Midsize Jet6 – 10––
Heavy Jet6 – 96$173,400 (€177,068)11 h 50 mins

Nice to Las Vegas: Airport Options

Private jet charter to Nice

Nice has one airport to fly out from. From Monaco, a helicopter transfer takes seven minutes. From central Nice, a taxi journey is less than 15 minutes, and from Cannes, a taxi takes around 30 minutes.

Nice has one airport at your disposal. If you’re journeying from the city centre, it will only be a 13 minute taxi ride. If you’re coming from Monaco, a helicopter will take you to the airport in seven minutes.

Cannes is a little further away, so you’ll need to factor a 30 minute journey into your schedule.

Nice Côte d’Azur Aéroport (NCE)

The airport receives many VIP guests and therefore has a dedicated private terminal. Here you can enjoy executive and high-class facilities before your flight.

Additionally, three onsite FBOs also have full private charter capabilities and ground-handling services:

  • Aviapartner Executive
  • Signature
  • Swissport Executive

Which Jets Can Fly You To Las Vegas?

Choices, choices. Which jet is suitable for your journey to Las Vegas, you might wonder? Turboprops and light jets are perfect for short distances, while midsize and heavy jets can manage longer distances in more comfort.

Let’s briefly review jets of different sizes so you can find your perfect match.

Turboprops

A turboprop is a small propeller-based aircraft explicitly designed for short distances and quick trips. The maximum range of these aircraft tends to be 1,500 miles (2414 km) with speeds of up to around 300 knots.

While they’re the slowest type of private jet, they are the cheapest and can easily handle short and hard-to-reach runways.

The Mitsubishi MU-2 is a pressurized turboprop accommodating up to seven passengers plus baggage. It has a range of 1040 nm and can handle small airport runways.

Light Jets

Light jets are a step up from the turboprop in both speed and range. On average, a light jet can travel 1,700 miles (2735 km) with speeds of up to 400 knots.

They cost more than a turboprop, but you’ll reach your destination faster. This aircraft can also handle short runways.

The Cessna CJ2+ is a popular aircraft with an onboard restroom and a fully-stocked minibar. Accommodating up to seven passengers, the spacious cabin ensures a comfortable flight for all.

Midsize – Super Midsize Jets

midsize private jet

Try the midsize jet for more comfort and a more extended range. These tend to feature larger cabins with onboard restrooms and other facilities. The top speed of a midsize jet hovers around 460 knots and has a range of up to 2,200 miles (3,540 km).

The eight-seater Praetor 500 is high-class. There is plenty of luggage space and lie-flat seats; the galley can provide hot food during your flight.

Heavy Jets

The heavy jet is the largest and most powerful option available, which can easily cope with long-haul distances. The average range for this jet is 6,000 miles (9,656 km), and can manage speeds of up to 550 knots.

Embraer Legacy 600 seats up to 13 passengers and features a VIP cabin, accessible luggage space, hot and cold food facilities, and luxury finishes. If you want to travel to Vegas in full style, the Legacy 600 is up to the job.

Conclusion

Las Vegas is only a private jet charter away. With the plethora of options available for the most popular routes, you’ll be there quicker than expected.
